Dear Manna Community,
We are excited to inform you that the conversion process for transitioning from old Manna to Manna 2.0 is now available for all users including SouthXchange, desktop wallets, and those holding balances on Mannabase.com.
Over the next two months, our dedicated team will be available to assist you in making a seamless transition from old Manna to the new and improved Manna 2.0. It is important to note that after September 1st, 2023, we will no longer accept conversions, so we kindly urge you to complete the conversion process within this timeframe.
As mentioned in the original Medium post about the conversion to Manna 2.0, all users will receive the same conversion amount every year for 5 years.
Let's say you receive 100 Manna after converting to 2.0. You will receive a total of 500 Manna over the course of five years. The second installment of 100 Manna will be automatically distributed on September 2nd, 2023, followed by subsequent distributions on September 1st of 2024, 2025, and 2026.
How to Claim Your Manna 2.0
In order to complete the conversion, you will need to download the BrightID app and get “meets” verified. You’ll also need to get a Metamask digital wallet and connect it to Mannabase.com.
Once you’ve connected both your Metamask and BrightID to mannabase.com, you will click the “claim old manna” in the footer of mannabase.com. From there, instructions will depend on where you store your manna. Please reference the following conversion guide for detailed instructions:
